Reasoning that leads to action.
Reason. Decide. Build.
Duscode gives anyone with an idea an engineering team: one that builds the software, checks it, ships it and looks after it, and brings the owner only the decisions that are theirs.
What Duscode is
Duscode is an app that runs on your computer, next to your code. Inside it is Dus, the engineer who does the work: he plans, builds, tests, ships and watches software, and explains his decisions. Dus leads; you decide. Technical calls are his. Money, publishing, real people’s data and anything permanent are yours, and they reach you as an Owner’s Call in plain words.
It is for builders who may not write code, and for engineers who would rather spend their time on the decisions than on the routine. It works with the AI models of many providers, and with your own servers and git host.
The name
Dus is Dutch for “so”, “thus” or “therefore”: the word that joins a reason to what follows from it. That is the idea behind the product. Every technical decision Dus makes comes with the evidence it rests on, and the app shows it as a Therefore line.
How we work
- Claims need proof. A capability shows as shipped only when its tests in our own suite pass, and the Capabilities page says which items are shipped, which are in beta and which are still coming.
- Proof comes from what ran. A task’s Proof of Work is built from the commands, checks and results the engine recorded, never from what the model says about itself.
- Plain words about limits. Software fails sometimes, and so does Dus. When something didn’t work, the app says so.
- Your code and keys stay yours. Duscode doesn’t store your code, prompts or keys. See Security.
- No invented numbers. No made-up customers, logos or testimonials on this site.
