Acceptable Use Policy
DRAFT – needs lawyer review. This policy has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer and is not final. Items marked [to confirm] need legal advice. Version: draft-2026-10-18. Questions: support@duscode.com.
1. Who this applies to
This policy is part of the Terms of Service between you and Yiontech Ltd (company number 16519666), registered office 3 Milford Court, Milford Street, Huddersfield, HD1 3DY, England ("Duscode", "we"). It applies to everyone who uses the Duscode app, Duscode Cloud, Duscode credits, or a system Duscode builds, ships, hosts or watches for you.
2. The short version
Use Dus for lawful software work on systems you are allowed to change. Don't use him to harm people, break into things, get around an AI provider's rules, or overload the service. You are responsible for what you ask Dus to do and for what you approve.
3. You must not use Duscode to
- break the law, or help anyone else break it, in the UK or where you are;
- build or run malware, phishing, credential theft, spam, fraud, or software meant to evade security controls;
- access, scan, test or change any system, account or data you are not authorised to, including when you connect a server, repository, database or app to Duscode;
- process personal data without a lawful basis, or special-category data without the safeguards the law requires;
- create content that sexualises children, incites violence, harasses people, or infringes someone else’s intellectual property or privacy;
- get around, probe or overload the limits, safety systems or usage policies of Duscode or of any AI provider, or use output to train or build a competing AI model where the provider forbids it;
- share, resell or sublicense accounts, licences, seats or credits, or run Duscode credits as an API for other people;
- copy, decompile, reverse engineer or tamper with Duscode or its licence checks, except as the law allows;
- make high-stakes automated decisions about people (credit, employment, housing, health, legal status) with Dus’s output without a person reviewing them. [To confirm against each provider’s usage policy.]
4. AI providers’ policies
Every request Dus makes is answered by a third-party AI model. With your own key, the provider’s terms and usage policy apply to you directly. On Duscode credits, they apply through us, and a breach of them is a breach of this policy. [Flow-down wording per provider to confirm.]
5. Systems you connect
When you let Dus deploy to, watch or fix a server, host or app, you confirm you own it or have the owner’s permission, and that the access you grant is the access you intend. Dus asks before anything that costs money, goes public or can’t be undone; you are responsible for what you approve and for the standing orders you set.
6. Security research
If you find a security problem in Duscode, tell us at support@duscode.com and give us reasonable time to fix it before you share it. Don’t access other customers’ data, degrade the service or run automated attacks against cloud.duscode.com. Good-faith research within these limits is welcome. [Safe-harbour wording to confirm.]
7. What happens if this policy is broken
We may remove content, pause Duscode credits, suspend or close an account, and report illegal activity to the authorities. Where it is reasonable and safe, we tell you first and give you the chance to put it right. A provider may also act against requests that break its policies.
8. Reporting misuse
Report misuse of Duscode, or of software Duscode runs, to support@duscode.com. Tell us what you saw, where and when.
