Changelog

What changed.

Every version, newest first, from the same release records as the download page. A withdrawn version stays listed with the reason. Follow the release feed, or read the longer release notes in the newsroom.

Duscode 0.2.0

· Beta

New

  • A new workspace design: the task in the centre, with cards for active agents, the current plan, files changed, checks and recent outputs beside it.
  • Watch panel: the health of your live services, incidents, and the decisions that need you, with Dus's recommendation, cost and how to undo.
  • Engineer view with files, the open file beside the chat, structure and file history; and an Owner view for people who don't write code.
  • Ten colour themes and four layouts (Standard, Studio, Engineer, Owner) in Settings, Appearance.
  • Hand a running task to your own always-on server and take it back later (beta).
  • Start work from Slack or Microsoft Teams by mentioning Duscode, and answer Dus's questions in the thread (beta).
  • Project guide: a plain-words page on what your project does, its parts, where it runs and what changed this week, with answers that cite their sources (beta).
  • Product backlog: everything that needs doing in one list, with a weekly plan for you to approve (beta).

Improved

  • Dus checks your project's own tests on both the change and the merged result before merging, and records which run posted each result.
  • Faster checks on busy machines: the test run splits itself to fit the free cores and memory.
  • Container isolation for commands, with network rules, when Docker or Podman is available (beta).
  • Activity log export as JSON Lines or CSV.

Fixed

  • Several tests that failed only on busy machines now wait for real signals instead of fixed delays.
  • The VS Code-style names in the sidebar are replaced with Duscode's own: Files, Open now, Structure and File history.

Security

  • Updates are verified with Duscode's release signature before they install.
