Now in beta: Machine doctor
Machine doctor is now in beta on Duscode. What it does and how it is proven.
Machine doctor is now in beta on Duscode: usable today, and still being proven on real work.
What it does (in beta)
- When your computer is the problem (a full disk, a file-watch limit, a port in use, a stale git lock, a wrong clock), Dus says what it is in plain words, fixes what is safe with your OK and a backup, and gives you the exact command for anything that needs your password (in beta).
- Windows, WSL, macOS and Linux (in beta).
How it is proven
Tests take every known problem from its error text to its diagnosis and fix plan on each system, run the fixes against fake machines and a throwaway container, and check that twenty helpers add nothing to your project for an editor to watch (in beta).
Every capability, its stage and how it is proven is on the capabilities page.

How Duscode works
Reason. Decide. Build. Dus does the engineering and checks his own work; you make the owner’s calls.
Your engineering team, ready when you are.
Duscode builds, ships and looks after your software, and asks you only what an owner decides.
