Now in beta: Manages its own memory
Manages its own memory is now in beta on Duscode. What it does and how it is proven.
Manages its own memory is now in beta on Duscode: usable today, and still being proven on real work.
What it does (in beta)
- Duscode keeps your computer from running out of memory: big temporary files go on the disk when /tmp lives in memory, heavy work waits while memory or swap is short and says so, its own idle dev servers and browsers stop after a while, and it cleans up only after runs that have really ended, never by age, never anything a running job or another program uses (in beta).
How it is proven
Tests kill and cancel runs and check nothing is left, sweep folders of live, dead, reused-pid and other-host owners, gate starts on swap and an in-memory /tmp, stop only idle registered processes, and prune tagged worktrees in real git while keeping unsaved work and other people’s (in beta).
Every capability, its stage and how it is proven is on the capabilities page.

How Duscode works
Reason. Decide. Build. Dus does the engineering and checks his own work; you make the owner’s calls.
Your engineering team, ready when you are.
Duscode builds, ships and looks after your software, and asks you only what an owner decides.
